Vipa
VIPA ist ein in Deutschland ansässiges Automatisierungsunternehmen, das sich auf Steuerungs- und I/O-Systeme für industrielle Anwendungen spezialisiert hat. Gegründet 1985 von Wolfgang Seel, begann VIPA mit der Produktion von Erweiterungen und Zusatzmodulen, die mit bestehenden Siemens-Systemen kompatibel waren, bevor das Unternehmen eine eigene Produktlinie von SPS und Automatisierungslösungen entwickelte.
Mit Hauptsitz in Herzogenaurach, Deutschland, ist VIPA weltweit tätig und in über 60 Ländern präsent. 2012 wurde VIPA eine mehrheitlich im Besitz von Yaskawa befindliche Tochtergesellschaft, was die Position im Bereich der Industrieautomation weiter stärkte.
